The importance of Supplements + Cell Nutrition

Supplements have long faced controversy with non-believers firmly believing in their lack of necessity, arguing that we should be able to get all of our nutrients from the food we eat. Although this point might have been valid historically, circumstances have now changed due to the ever present pollution and toxins tied to our modern world. Today, foods are often made with preservatives and additives which doesn’t do any good to our bodies, and in many cases, we are basically eating a plate of nothingness leaving our bodies and cells in a crave for energy.

Due to this detrimental route the world has gone down, long-standing fans of supplements are having their beliefs cemented while naysayers are also being converted one by one. The days of claiming supplements as bogus are dying out (The global dietary supplements market is expected to reach USD 278.02 billion by 2024) and focus is changing for the well informed health crowd, now more likely to ask themselves what supplement to choose based on cellular nutrition and their level of bioavailability.

The body cells are the source of the body’s energy supply, the core of our health and keeps us functioning on all levels. This explains the importance of cellular nutrition which can only be obtained through a special blend of highly solvable essential natural vitamins, nutrients and minerals that activate the body cells and help them to absorb and process the essential daily nutrients and vitamins from foods and supplements. In other words, we need supplements, the RIGHT supplements, to boost our cells and wellbeing and we need to choose wisely.

When a supplement package says it contains a certain amount of a particular nutrient, it doesn’t necessarily mean that your body will absorb all of it. This is because for every nutrient, there’s a set of factors that influences its absorption and utilization. Not 100% of the nutrients you consume will make their way through your gastrointestinal tract and into your bloodstream, as the body is only able to use a portion of the nutrients it takes in. You also have to think about when and how plus a range of other factors when you take supplements. For example, caffeine reduces nutrient absorption and promotes excretion of key vitamins and minerals and stress can work against absorption as well. Awareness is key.

A good example of products that are leading the way in terms of cell nutrition for optimal wellbeing are the Cell Nutrition’s two Quinton ampules Isotonic and Hypertonic which are both 100% natural mineral supplements. Quinton is a nutrient-rich combination of 78 minerals and trace elements that naturally occur in very specific parts of our oceans. Due to the specific proportions of each element, it provides your cells with the perfect environment to thrive and achieve optimum function, allowing your body to work at its best. The Quinton Hypertonic provides your body with a more rapid remineralisation that people find very energising as well as enhancing cellular nutrition. It is therefore beneficial to those prone to fatigue, those with a busy or stressful lifestyle. The Quinton Isotonic helps to re-balance and repair the cells to stimulate the immune system and boost the body’s defences against infections.
If still in doubt about the power of supplements and cell nutrition, know yourself and your needs, do your research, try a couple products out and discover what true wellbeing really feels like.
